s condemned the U.S. for participating in a trilateral naval drill, saying it is focusing on military provocation rather than dialogue.

On Wednesday, a spokesman from the DPRK Foreign Ministry said Washington was escalating tensions on the Korean peninsula with its planned military drill with Japan and South Korea, which will involve an American aircraft carrier. The three countries will also work on a joint strategy against nuclear weapons.

A DPRK military spokesman said earlier Tuesday that all of the country’s troops were "on high alert to promptly foil provocations" from the maneuver.

Meanwhile, the U.S. and South Korea claim the trilateral exercise is mainly meant to enhance the search and rescue capabilities of private ships. The three-day drill was originally scheduled to start on Tuesday, but was delayed for at least two days due to bad weather.

For wedding planner Wang Feng, it’s been a busy Golden Week, this already being his 10th client.

Wang didn’t even have time to attend his own friends’ weddings, so he asked his friends to deliver his gift money instead.The golden week is the hottest season for tying the knot in China. It’s common for many people to attend 3 to 4 weddings during the week. The only downside of course is the hole being burned in people’s pockets.

In Nanning, capital of Guangxi, south China, this couple choose October 6th as their wedding day.

And one of those who returned is the bestman, who had to give up a vacation with his girlfriend to pay his respects to the groom.

The Indian Army says it has called off an operation to search and eliminate terrorists that were attempting to infiltrate across the disputed border with Pakistan. The army had been engaged in a 15-day long operation in the hilly Keran sector in the Himalayan region of its controlled Kashmir.

Indian security officials said Indian troops faced repeated infiltration attempts at multiple points from militants who crossed from Pakistani-controlled Kashmir into the Indian-controlled portion.

They also accused the Pakistani Army of backing the infiltrators, noting that most of the militants were armed with weapons with Pakistani markings. Pakistan has denied the allegation.

India and Pakistan have fought three wars over control of Kashmir since they gained independence from Britain in 1947. An estimated 68,000 people have been killed in the conflict.
